Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram believes Twenty20 cricket could eventually replace one-day internationals. Akram said the success of the ongoing Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa could have spark greater interest in the format.

Cricket legend Kapil Dev on Friday advocated the need for more cricketing activities in the country, saying it would produce better players and help the sport to grow.
"There should be more cricket. The more cricketing activities we have, better players will be produced", Dev told reporters on the sidelines of inauguration of the Assam Cricket Academy.

Yuvraj Singh hit Stuart Broad for 6 might sixes in one over in India's match against England on Wednesday. Yuvraj Singh brought Broad to tears when he hit him for 36 runs in the 19th over. Luckily Broad did not bowl any no balls in that over. Yuvraj hit Broad to over the mid-wicket boundary two times, over backward square leg, extra cover, backward point and wide mid-on.
